When you organise a festival like Liquid Leuven, there’s always a number of interesting guests that come over from abroad, to meet people and talk about their passion. These people often have an extra day in Belgium, and are open for hosting an extra masterclass. Meug is always happy to oblige, of course!

This time, we have a true whisky legend in the house. Fergus Simpson from Duncan Taylor is a true ambassador for Scotch whisky. When a man like that asks if you want to organise a tasting, you don’t think too much and just say yes. One call to Dieter from Belroys At Nine was enough to secure a brilliant location to accommodate up to 25 guests, and voila, a new unmissable whisky-event is born. Fergus brings 7 whisky’s from the Duncan Taylor Portfolio and Dieter makes you a welcome cocktail based on one of the Black Bull blended whisky’s. We’re havind the tasting in the afternoon, to ensure everybody is in perfect lazy sunday afternoon-mood, for a relaxed and laidback session of whisky tasting.
