A little distillery way over in Campbeltown has intrigued us since it started in 2004. The Glengyle Distillery doesn’t make a lot of spirit, but they did one very important thing for whisky in reinstating Campbeltown as an official whisky region.
When we sifted through our whisky cupboard, we noticed a whole series of new and slightly older Kilkerran bottlings that would make up for a nice little line-up especially for those looking for a deep dive into what Kilkerran whisky stands for. It is a true whisky geeks heaven, with no less than 6 different 8yo versions bottled at Cask Strength. We’ll start out with two older official bottlings to get the palate warmed for this CS extravaganza.
When we got in touch with Fiona McFadyen from Springbank Distillers and heard she was willing to host this session, we knew we were in for what Meug stands for: a fun night with great whisky’s shared among friends.

You will get a link for joining the online tasting a couple days beforehand, through mail.
If you order more than one sample set for the same tasting, you only have to pay shipping costs once.
If you order sample sets for different tastings, make sure to add shipping costs for each tasting – unfortunately, due to timings, samples for different tastings cannot be shipped together.
